Mentoring agreement

This agreement governs the relationship between the campaign or venture owner who receives support from the Donation Center Mentoring Programme (the "Team") and Donation Center. The Mentoring Programme is a programme in which experienced people guide campaigns and ventures. You confirm this agreement before sending your mentoring request.

1. Nature of the service

• Mentoring is guidance and accompaniment for a period. It is not a promise that the campaign or venture will raise donations, funding or succeed.
• The mentor is independent. Donation Center introduces you and provides the setting; it does not guarantee the accuracy of the mentor's views or the outcome of the match.

2. Decisions belong to the team

The mentor's views are not investment, legal, financial or tax advice. On important matters we recommend getting support from a qualified professional. The decisions you take and their results are yours.

3. Matching

• Matching is made according to your request and the availability of mentors.
• Donation Center reserves the right not to match or to change a match.
• If you are not happy with a match you can ask us to change your mentor.

4. What we expect from you

• You give accurate information about your campaign and venture.
• You join meetings on time and treat the mentor with respect.
• You do not offer the mentor or their relatives money, shares or any other benefit. If paid services are introduced later, you pay only through Donation Center.

5. Confidentiality and what you share

You decide what you share with the mentor. The mentor and Donation Center keep the information you share confidential and use it only for mentoring.

6. Intellectual property

The content and ideas of your campaign and venture stay with you. The mentor's own general knowledge and materials stay with them.

7. Fees and payment terms

• Mentoring is a paid service. Before you buy, the scope of the package, its price, the currency, who provides the service and the cancellation and refund rules are shown clearly and your consent is obtained.
• Payment is made only through Donation Center; you do not pay the mentor directly.

8. Feedback and complaints

You can send us feedback and complaints about your match; our team reviews them.

9. Personal data

The details you share in your mentoring request and meetings are processed to make matches and run the programme. If a meeting is to be recorded, your explicit permission is asked beforehand. The details are in the Privacy Notice.

10. Responsibility

You are responsible for the decisions you take as a result of mentoring; Donation Center does not guarantee the accuracy of views or the success of a campaign.

11. Ending and changes

You can leave mentoring at any time. Donation Center may end a match if you breach this agreement or for another justified reason. If this agreement changes, a new version is published and put to you for confirmation again before you continue.
