DONATE shows up in four places in the platform's daily running. Token balances and cash donations are always kept apart.

- Donors are rewarded in DONATE for eligible donations that reach the campaign owner.

- Boost helps more people see your campaign and is paid for in DONATE.
- Token support for campaigns
- As programmes open, you can back campaigns directly with DONATE. This support is not added to the cash amount raised.

Do I need DONATE to make a donation?
No. Cash donations on Donation Center work independently of DONATE. Holding the token is not a precondition for donating.
What is Boost?
Boost is a visibility service that helps more people see your campaign on Donation Center. It is paid for in DONATE. It makes your campaign stand out but does not guarantee donations or campaign success.
What does "burn" mean in crypto?
Burning means permanently destroying tokens; nothing is physically burned. The burn function of the token contract is used, a burned token can never be brought back by anyone and is removed from the total amount. For DONATE, half of what is paid for services such as Boost is burned this way.
Does token support count towards a campaign's cash goal?
No. Token balances and monetary donations are tracked separately. DONATE support is never added to a campaign's cash target as if it were fiat currency.
When can I move DONATE to an external wallet or sell it?
At first all balances are held in Donation Center wallets; transfers to external wallets and open-market trading are closed. These steps open separately in later stages. When the market opens, team and investor shares are not released at once; they unlock on their own schedules.
Is DONATE a company share?
No. Holding DONATE does not grant company shares, ownership in a funded venture, revenue sharing, voting equity or guaranteed returns. Any rights offered by a venture-funding campaign belong strictly to that campaign.
