Campaign rules
Version 1 · in effect since Oct 13, 2026
These rules set out which campaigns may and may not be opened on Donation Center. They form part of the Campaign Owner Agreement; campaigns and the comments and updates on campaign pages are reviewed against them.
1. Basic principles
- A campaign is opened for a genuine purpose, and that purpose is clearly described.
- The Campaign Owner does not hide its identity and does not open a campaign on someone else's behalf without permission.
- The money raised is used only for the purpose described in the campaign.
2. Campaigns that may not be opened
- campaigns for unlawful goods, services or activities;
- campaigns that support, glorify or fund violence, hatred, discrimination or terrorism;
- campaigns intended for money laundering, evading sanctions or funding sanctioned persons or organisations;
- campaigns relating to weapons, explosives, drugs and similar prohibited products;
- campaigns in the nature of lotteries, gambling, games of chance or pyramid schemes;
- investment, lending or financial product campaigns offered without the permits required from the competent authorities;
- campaigns that infringe other people's intellectual property, personality or privacy rights;
- campaigns based on misleading, false or unverifiable claims;
- campaigns that exploit or endanger children or vulnerable people.
3. Content rules
Campaign texts, images, updates and comments may not contain content that is misleading, abusive or obscene, that discloses personal data without permission, or that infringes the rights of others.
4. Health, emergency and personal-need campaigns
For campaigns opened for illness, treatment, disaster or personal need, the consent of the person who will receive the help is obtained and the need is documented. The team may ask for further documents.
5. Enforcement
- The team may decline to publish, ask for changes to, pause or remove a campaign that breaks these rules.
- In case of a breach, the amount in escrow may be refunded to backers and the Campaign Owner may be restricted from opening new campaigns.
- Where necessary, we cooperate with the competent authorities.
6. Report
If you see a campaign or content that you believe breaks these rules, report it to us using the report tool on the page or through the contact page.
