Frequently asked questions
The questions people ask most about Donation Center. If you cannot find yours, write to us.
Choose a campaign, set an amount in the campaign's currency and pay the equivalent in any supported cryptocurrency. Your donation is then held in escrow until the campaign ends.
The payment methods on offer are listed at checkout; they can include card, bank transfer and cryptocurrency. For cryptocurrency we support stablecoins such as USDT, USDC and DAI, and coins such as BTC, ETH and SOL, on networks including Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, Polygon and Base.
The campaign owner chooses the campaign's currency (for example USD, EUR or TRY). Goals and totals are shown in it. You give an amount in that currency and pay the equivalent in any supported cryptocurrency, at the rate at the time of payment.
A 3% service fee is added on top of the support amount at checkout, so the campaign receives the full support amount. It covers the payment infrastructure and running the platform; Donation Center does not aim to profit from donations. The blockchain network (gas) fee is paid by the donor when sending the payment.
Yes. Donations are held in Donation Center's escrow wallet and released to the campaign owner only after the campaign ends and has been reviewed. Every campaign is also reviewed before it goes live.
Because donations wait in escrow, they can be refunded if a campaign is cancelled or, for all-or-nothing campaigns, does not reach its goal. The cancellation and refund policy has the details.
Log in to your account and go to 'My Donations' to see all your donations and their status.
After signing up, click 'Start a Campaign' and fill out the form. Your campaign will go live after our team reviews it.
