Create Your First Campaign
Learn how to create your first campaign step by step.
Before You Start
To create your first campaign, here is what you need:
- Create an account — Sign up for free with your email or social account and verify your email address
- Choose who you are raising for — You can start a campaign for yourself, someone else, an organization, or your venture
- Prepare your story and visuals — Identity and payout account verification are not required when opening a campaign; they are requested before the first payout of funds raised
Campaign Wizard
Donation Center's campaign wizard guides you through 4 easy steps.
Step 1: Basic Information
Set up the framework for your campaign:
- Title: Should be short, compelling, and clear (max 80 characters)
- Short Description: Summarize your campaign in one sentence (max 160 characters)
- Category: Education, health, environment, animals, emergency aid, etc.
- Location: Your campaign's target region
Step 2: Detailed Description
A good campaign description should include:
- Your Story: Why are you starting this campaign?
- Purpose: What will the collected funds be used for?
- Impact: How will the donors' contributions make a difference?
- Transparency: A budget plan showing fund distribution
Tip: An emotional, authentic story makes it easier for donors to connect with your campaign.
Step 3: Media
Visual content directly impacts your campaign's success:
- Cover Image: 1200x630px, high quality
- Gallery: We recommend adding at least 3-5 additional images
- Video: We strongly recommend adding a 2-3 minute introductory video
Step 4: Goal, Duration, and Payout Rule
- Goal Amount and Currency: Set a realistic goal aligned with your budget
- Duration: Campaigns of around 30–60 days make it easier to keep momentum
- Payout Rule: Choose whether the funds raised are released when the campaign ends regardless of the goal, or only if the goal is reached ("all or nothing")
- Thank-You Perks / Packages (optional): Define thank-you perks or reward packages for supporters above certain amounts
